Museum Concepts operates under the direction of Marian (Cissy) Foote Anklam, who has more than 25 years experience working with museums and cultural organizations. At the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C., she directed exhibit development and educational programming. She also served as chief curator of the Newseum in Arlington, Va. Since 2002, she has been an independent museum consultant.

Work with foundations and boards to develop a museum, cultural heritage site or cultural tourism experience. Put together and manage the creative team that can develop highly engaging interpretive experiences that will enhance existing tourism, build on educational opportunities and create new venues for visitors.
EXHIBITIONS
Generate exhibit concepts, provide content development and coordinate artifact acquisition. And we can assemble and direct a project’s creative team, including curators, designers, media producers and fabricators. We also select appropriate venues for traveling shows.
